BLS for Healthcare Provider
This course is designed for those in health care fields that require an American Heart Association certification card.
This course is available in a Provider, Renewal, or Skills Heartcode format.
All Formats can be organized at your location or ours for any size group of four or more. Open enrollment classes are available for individuals by searching our classes.
Upon completion, passing students receive an American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
All formats are taught by an American Heart Association (AHA) certified instructor and follow the AHA guidelines for the course.
BLS Provider Course (Full)
This format is intended for individuals who do not have an AHA BLS certification, have expired, or are learners that need a visual and tactile environment for learning.
You will learn and practice CPR for adults, children, and infants on individual manikins using a face mask and ambu bag for airway management. You will learn and practice with an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). You will learn how to relieve choking due to a foreign-body obstruction.

The current AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider Student Manual is required for this class.
A passing score on the written test and demonstration of the course material via a skills check is required to obtain a certification card.
BLS Skills Check-Off
This format is intended for new or renewing students who want to complete the cognitive/classroom portion online and then conduct the skills checkoff with an instructor. The student is required to complete the online portion prior to their scheduled skills checkoff class and provide a copy of the BLS Online completion certificate.

This course is for anyone who needs to learn basic FIRST AID and is available in several formats. The courses are taught in a non-stressful setting to help the student learn the skills and feel confident in an emergency situation.
Heartsaver FIRST AID with CPR and AED
This course includes the material covered in the Heartsaver course with the addition of FIRST AID.
The current AHA Heartsaver FIRST AID with CPR and AED book is required for this class which includes a CD, so the student can review and maintain their skills.
Pediatric FIRST AID with CPR and AED
This course includes the material covered in the Heartsaver course with the addition of FIRST AID in a relaxed setting. It meets the requirements for day care workers, school teachers, and assistants.
The current AHA Pediatric Heartsaver FIRST AID with CPR and AED book is required for this class which includes a CD so the student can review and maintain their skills.

Friends and Family
This course is for anyone who wants to learn CPR, but does not need an American Heart Association certification card.
You will learn and practice CPR for adults, children and infants on individual manikins using a face mask or shield. You will learn and practice with an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). You will learn how to relieve choking due to a foreign-body obstruction.
This is an ideal course for new parents or those with young children. There is no testing or course card but there is hands on practice throughout the course.
The course is taught by an American Heart Association (AHA) certified instructor and follows the AHA guidelines for the Friends and Family course. There is no book required for this class.
This course can be organized at your location or ours for any size group and can be tailored to meet the needs of your group.
Upon completion passing students receive a certificate of completion.
